Keep this in mind, it has been a hard evening for me in the mental sense. I am struggling with a few concepts. I guess it's the Kantianism everyone believes in today.
Well, right, so today, a few friends just canceled on me and didn't tell me. We had a game planned and they didn't tell me. No word, no message, and no showing up either. What's with that. I had a gamed plan, invited an extra person along, another person was also ready, and two of them just decided, "You know what forget it, I won't show up!!!!" You know and I was worried and just confused. So, I thought it'd be settled if I called them, but hey, they still didn't show...! At least give me a word and tell me, "You know I can show up." or "Sorry, I couldn't show up..." How hard' is that? The devotion is going down, and really no one's forcing them, so all they need to do is say something.
Then I asked someone to do something for me and they agreed. Then, they did it halfway and complained about it. I mean what help is that. If you agree voluntarily to helping do it sincerely, passionally and all the way. I offered to help out around here and you don't see moaning about how I am helping or doing it halfway and say, tada I am done. No, I am trying to flush this forum and I'll do it fully, quietly, pleasantly, and completely. Sure, I have my own motive for doing it, but I am doing it, although not altruistically.
Where's people's devotion, true passionate work, and sincerity today, and why is people so shallow and altruistic today? No, I am not an altruist or conformist, and I certainly am not out to please people, but why do I do that which they proclaim so loudly that they will do and yet I do not shout it? I am very selfish and I am a capitalist, but I can get tripple the work a altruist can do, and hell, I am three times mmore thorough, and accurate. Sure I run on my own schedule, but I get these promises done while they sometimes do. Why is that...!!!!!!!?
